We work in partnership with our customers to find out:
- What works well in practice in their organisation
- What makes some people successful in their organisation at specific tasks/roles (depending on scope of performance issue)
- What some people do or don't do that makes them less effective/productive
To do this we use a full range of interview/survey techniques including workshops, observation, facilitated sessions, personal interviews, paired interviews, telephone interviews and online questionnaires.

Step 2
Then we develop programmes that use the most appropriate method(s) of improving performance to:
- Bridge gaps and develop employee potential
- Support and encourage effective performance
- Recognise and promote effective activities/beliefs
Solutions can include a wide range of possible development activities including:
- Action sets (learning based round real projects)
- Work-based learning programmes (shadowing, observation, mentoring)
- E-diagnosis of development needs
- E-learning and e-performance support
- Workshops/facilitated sessions
- Performance support materials
- One-to-one coaching support
